DST trouble

Here I was all relieved about our systems having no impact by the recent US DST law changes and all of a sudden our government announces possible changes next October, the problem here is not the changes but the fact that the decision will problably be made the week before like they usually do.
If a decision to change is made what will happen is we will be lined up with the rest of continental Europe instead of being lined up with the UK & Ireland.
I guess I will have to go read all the articles and posts (again) about the recent US experience. Well, at least we might be able to learn something from this and make it easier, but I am not sure we will get the same level of support from vendors.
